Wat Ming Muang Viharn

Wat Ming Muang Wiang

On our first full day in Chiang Rai, we were walking around the city and taking in the sights. My friend was in search of a bag to carry his electronic goodies as was I; I was also in search of cargo shorts. We stumbled upon a covered marketplace and we both got lucky. After paying the different vendors for our goods  we exited the marketplace only to discover we were not on the same street as when we entered and had no idea where we were or what direction to head.

As we were walking around we came across Wat Ming Muang Wiang and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the Viharn, with the burnt red coloring of the entrance from the sidewalk.
