Beach Cairns 2

Beach Cairns

Whenever I come across these photos I took in 2009 I always feel peaceful. While they are (technically) cairns, something about them being at the beach always made me feel like it was more of a zen/spa kind of image.

Both photos were post processed in Lightroom. The photo on the right got played with in Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Ultimate; I duplicated the photo then created a kaleidoscope effect I liked, next I changed the mode to Soft Light with an opacity level of 50. Oh yeah, I also added a mask so that it didn’t cover the rocks.
