Weekly Photo Challenge: Split-Second Story 2

Weekly Photo Challenge: Split-Second Story

This weeks photo challenge is to “capture an image that tells a full story in a single frame.” I have two photos to share from last Saturday when a friend and I went out to shoot birds at three different parks. She loves taking photos of birds and didn’t know about two of the three parks. I brought about five pounds of bird seed to bribe the birds to get closer for us.

We had been feeding this group of birds in an area behind where this photo was taken. When we were done we started walking away. I think she was the one who looked back first and saw the birds following us. I decided to stop and take a photo of the birds following her. When the birds realized they weren’t getting any more food, they turned and walked away.

In this next photo, grandma brought her granddaughters, and some bread, to feed the birds. When they ran out of bread I offered them some bird food – the freezer bag on the bench. Before they knew it there were swarms of birds around them and they hurriedly got on top of the bench. Since I didn’t ask their permission to take a photo (you could barely hear due to the loud noise the birds were making), I zoomed in so you can’t really see how many birds were all around them.
