Weekly Photo Challenge: Room – Part II

In this week’s photo challenge, share your take on the idea of room — it could be an actual room in your house, a favorite gallery in your local museum, a cubicle at work. You could also take this challenge in a more abstract direction, and show us where you feel like you have room — or lack it.

For my second attempt at showing “room” I went through my hiking photos. Since I am interested in other cultures I like to share photos that I’ve taken. My first post for the challenge was taken in Northern Thailand, the photos in this  post were taken in Southern California at Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa. It is part of the display on the Chumash Indians who lived in the area.

The photos were taken on January 5, 2013 and four months later this area was engulfed in flames as part of 24,000 acres that were burned. I haven’t been back since the photos were taken, but I’m guessing the area where I stood to take the  photo at the very bottom of the post does not look like that anymore.

Here’s one in the same park with a different meaning…Room to Roam.
