Object - Lost Stuffed Toy

Weekly Photo Challenge: Object

This weeks “Weekly Photo Challenge” is Object. In 2008, while walking along the boardwalk in Ventura, California, I had been looking down and taking pictures of the cute squirrels scampering across the rocks and boulders. Soon I came upon this stuffed toy that some child had lost. It was in an area that wasn’t easy to get to so I’m hoping that was the only reason this toy got left behind.

I can image the child crying hysterically, not wanting to leave its best friend behind. After watching the movie “Toy Story” is makes me wonder what the stuffed animal is thinking…”Ouch, that hurt!”, “Now, how do I get out of here?”, “No more warm, cozy bed to sleep in.”

I’d like to think that the family found someone who could retrieve this cutey from its rocky perch.
