For this week’s challenge we’re to “stimulate your creative process and imagine which of your images you would like to see gracing the cover of a book, an album, or a magazine.”
The cover art can be a simple image, or, if you’re looking for a more technical challenge, you can add elements like title, author, or song list to the image. It can be sad, happy, silly, or serious. The main points here are to dig a new creative well and to have fun while doing it. I’m looking forward to see what you come up with. Enjoy!
This would be a CD cover for my favorite “weird” oldies songs. Tracks would include (links are for music videos):
- “In the Court of the Crimson King” by King Crimson
- “21st century schizoid man” by King Crimson
- “In the Year 2525” by Zager and Evans
- “Space Oddity” by David Bowie
- “Pigs” by Pink Floyd
Maybe a couple of other songs depending on how much room would be left on the CD.
Photo was taken with my iPad Mini using the PhotoBooth app where I selected the X-Ray mode. Then added some effects from the MasterFX app.
Thank you for viewing and have a great weekend. You can see more “Cover Art” photos here.
